Miss Alyx MA, CCC-SLP
Alyx obtained a Bachelors and Master's of Science degree in Communication Disorders at the Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri. She went on to work in the Springfield school system, and then migrated to working in a variety of settings that specialized in pediatrics.
Alyx has strong clinical experience and training in motor speech disorders like apraxia and early language development in the 3 and under age group. She also has experience with AAC and children with ASD as well as fluency disorders.
Alyx's comprehensive continuing education work in the area of oral movement, coordination, and feeding has expanded her clinical skill repertoire significantly and as she has come to develop a deeper understanding of retained primitive reflexes and whole body treatment in orofacial myofunctional disorders
